Job Description

We are looking for a visionary, data-driven, and highly adaptive Head of Marketing to lead our global marketing strategy for our cannabis vape hardware and device ecosystem. In this role, you will build and scale our brand across both B2B and B2C channels, establishing our hardware as the premium choice for cannabis brands, multi-state operators (MSOs), extraction laboratories, and consumers. Navigating a complex, highly restricted advertising landscape, you will craft innovative strategies spanning trade marketing, product launches, digital ecosystem building, and industry thought leadership

Responsibilities/daily tasks:
  • Global Brand & Product Strategy: Define and execute the global brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity for our entire hardware architecture (cartridges, disposables, batteries, and smart systems).
  • B2B Demand Generation: Build high-impact marketing programs to acquire, retain, and expand relationships with MSOs, extractors, white-label brands, and dispensaries.
  • Launch Campaigns (Go-To-Market): Architect and execute comprehensive Go-To-Market (GTM) playbooks for new product launches, hardware iterations, and technical innovations, collaborating closely with Product Management and Engineering.
  • Trade Marketing & Events: Oversee our experiential presence at major global cannabis trade shows, industry conferences, and regional sales activation pop-ups (e.g., MJBizCon, Champs, Hall of Flowers).
  • Compliant Digital Ecosystems: Oversee all digital marketing channels including B2B web properties, SEO, targeted email marketing, compliant organic social media networks, and content marketing (whitepapers, aerosol studies, and heavy metal safety reports).
  • PR & Thought Leadership: Establish the company’s executives and product engineers as industry thought leaders on vaporization technology, manufacturing safety, and hardware compliance.
  • Budget & Analytics Management: Allocate and manage the annual marketing budget, establishing clear KPIs, tracking Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), and business impact.
Qualifications: Experience, Education
  • Experience: 7–10+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (Director or Head of Marketing) within cannabis hardware, consumer electronics, or highly regulated industries (e.g., e-cigarettes, alcohol, pharma, fintech).
  • Cannabis Mastery: Deep familiarity with the multi-state cannabis landscape, consumer vape consumption habits, extraction types (distillate vs. solventless), and hardware performance needs.
  • Regulatory Compliance Expert: Proven track record of executing successful marketing campaigns within strict advertising constraints (TCAP, state-by-state packaging rules, digital advertising platform restrictions).
  • Full-Stack Competency: Balanced mastery of both creative brand storytelling and rigorous, data-driven performance analytics.
  • Leadership Style: Experience building, mentoring, and managing high-performing internal teams and external creative/PR agencies.
  • Authorized to work in the US without the need for employer sponsorship.
Preferred Experience
  • Existing strong relationships with prominent cannabis B2B trade publications, media outlets, and industry influencers.
  • Experience managing international marketing campaigns across North America, Europe, and emerging global legal cannabis markets.
  • A mix of B2B channel marketing experience and B2B2C brand pull-through strategy.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Opportunities for growth in a rapidly expanding industry
