Job Summary: This hands-on role involves loading and unloading shipments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the warehouse. This is a fast-paced environment requiring physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong team-oriented mindset.
In this role, you'll be responsible for receiving, sorting, and routing mail and packages to the appropriate destinations within our facility or delivery network. Your attention to detail and reliability will play an important part in keeping daily operations running smoothly.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for loading and unloading storage containers and shipments with care and precision. This includes properly wrapping and securing furniture and household goods to ensure items remain in excellent condition during storage or transit. You will also be tasked with inspecting inbound freight and taking detailed exceptions to accurately document the condition of items upon arrival.
Responsible for receiving, sorting, and accurately routing mail and packages while verifying addresses, labels, and shipment details. Prepare outgoing mail and packages for delivery, operate scanners and mail-sorting equipment, and handle all items carefully to prevent damage or loss. Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety, security, and company procedures. Consistently meet daily processing and delivery deadlines.
You'll work closely with van operators, operations staff, service providers, and customers to ensure smooth coordination and high-quality service. Accurate recordkeeping and neat, legible paperwork are essential, as is a willingness to assist with local or short notice moves based on the day's workload. Flexibility, clear communication, and a customer-first attitude are key to your success in this role.
Additional duties may be assigned depending on your warehouse, the time of year, and the needs of your team. Above all, though, you are expected to contribute to a positive and professional work environment. Your role directly impacts our ability to reduce claims and deliver exceptional customer experience, and you'll receive training designed to help you meet these standards every day.
We are looking to fill a
Monday-Friday shift from
5:00 PM to 10:00 PM .
Saturday shifts will be between
5:00 AM and 10:00 PM , with hours varying based on operational needs. Flexibility is required for Saturday shifts.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: - Heavy lifting and carrying: Ability to regularly lift, carry, load, and unload furniture, household goods, and storage items, while handling high-volume weight loads.
- Loading and unloading: Ability to repeatedly load and unload storage containers and shipments, including wrapping, securing, and positioning heavy items.
- Standing, walking, and physical stamina: Ability to remain on your feet and move around the warehouse for extended periods while handling physically demanding workloads.
- Bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling: Ability to perform frequent physical movements when handling furniture, wrapping items, sweeping, organizing, and maintaining the facility.
- Working in varying warehouse conditions: Ability to safely work in warehouse environments with changing temperatures, high-volume activity, and physically demanding conditions while operating or working around warehouse equipment.
